Captain A320 – UAE National

About the role

Air Arabia is seeking a qualified UAE national to serve as Captain on its A320 fleet. The successful candidate will command scheduled flights, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort while representing the airline’s brand positively.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assigned A320 aircraft on scheduled routes in accordance with the Airline Operational Manual and civil aviation regulations.
• Lead the flight crew, conduct pre‑flight briefings, and coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and cabin crew.
• Monitor fuel consumption and optimise flight plans for efficiency while maintaining safety as the top priority.
• Perform safety, security, and regulatory checks before, during, and after each flight.
• Respond to emergencies and irregularities, directing crew actions and escalating when necessary.
• Collaborate with maintenance engineers to verify aircraft airworthiness and address technical issues promptly.

Required profile

• UAE national with a valid commercial pilot licence and A320 type rating.
• Extensive experience as a pilot, preferably with command experience on commercial jet aircraft.
• Strong knowledge of airline operating procedures, aviation regulations, and safety management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage crew and liaise with ground operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating the Airbus A320 aircraft.
• Understanding of fuel‑efficiency planning and performance calculations.
• Ability to conduct thorough pre‑flight briefings and safety checks.
