Car Upholstery Technician for Premium Cars

About the role

Deow International is looking for a skilled Car Upholstery Technician to work on premium vehicles in Dubai. The role involves restoring, repairing, replacing and customizing interior upholstery to the high standards expected in luxury automotive work.

Key responsibilities

• Remove, inspect, repair and refit vehicle seats, door panels, headliners, dashboards, carpets and related interior components.
• Cut, stitch, shape and install leather, vinyl, fabric, suede and other upholstery materials, ensuring colour and pattern matching.
• Measure accurately, identify defects and complete repairs or replacements according to job requirements.
• Use upholstery tools, sewing equipment, adhesives and trim‑fitting equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain clean work areas, protect vehicle surfaces and conduct quality checks before handover.
• Coordinate with supervisors and colleagues to meet completion schedules and customer specifications.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in automotive upholstery, interior trimming or premium vehicle restoration.
• Strong knowledge of leather, vinyl, fabric, suede, foam, adhesives, thread and automotive trim materials.
• Ability to dismantle and reinstall seats, panels, carpets, headliners and interior fittings without damage.
• Attention to stitching, alignment and surface quality in luxury vehicle interiors.

Required skills

• Measuring, cutting and sewing upholstery materials.
• Pattern matching, stretching and gluing of leather, vinyl and fabric.
• Use of hand tools, sewing machines and heat tools.
• Application of adhesives and trim‑fitting equipment.
