Cards MIS Specialist

About the role

The Cards MIS Specialist will provide accurate and timely analytics on cards and payments to support business decisions, portfolio performance, and customer engagement. Working on‑site in Dubai, the role combines data extraction, dashboard creation, and campaign measurement using SQL, Python, PySpark, Power BI and Excel.

Key responsibilities

• Produce daily, weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc MIS reports covering customers, accounts, cards, transactions, spend, merchants, channels and products.
• Build and refresh Power BI dashboards and Excel reporting packs, define KPIs and explain trends, variances and exceptions.
• Translate campaign rules into customer selections, execute fulfilment, validate cashback and analyse pre/post‑campaign performance.
• Query and transform large data sets on Hive/Hadoop using SQL, Python and PySpark, and automate repeatable workflows.
• Perform data reconciliations, sample checks and quality controls, documenting logic, lineage and assumptions.
• Partner with Cards Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Risk, Technology and partner teams to turn business questions into actionable insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, computer science, engineering, finance or a related field.
• Relevant experience in banking, digital payments, card solutions or FinTech, preferably in a fast‑paced matrix organisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
