About the role

The Care Worker will support licensed clinical staff in delivering safe, high‑quality patient care on a medical ward. Working under supervision, you will assist with direct patient care, maintain sterile supplies, and help ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

Provide fundamental patient care under the guidance of licensed personnel.
Maintain and supervise Central Sterile Supply (CSSD) items within the ward.
Uphold patient rights and actively participate in intentional rounds.
Deliver general administrative services to support effective unit operations.

Required profile

High School Diploma or equivalent plus a formal accredited 6‑month healthcare course, or a Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Experience in an inpatient hospital setting as a healthcare worker.
Basic understanding of health and social care in a clinical environment.

Required skills

Knowledge of CSSD basic functions.
Manual handling and general ergonomic principles.
Computer literacy with Microsoft Office.
Functional numerical literacy.
