About the role

The Careline Runner supports guest satisfaction by handling service requests, managing minibar inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of room‑service items in a busy hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process guest requests through Synergy, ensuring timely completion and closing requests in the system.
• Perform daily inventory checks for extra beds, baby cribs, and minibar items, track stock levels and notify F&B for replenishment.
• Prepare and deliver trolleys for room service orders, maintaining service standards and professional demeanor.
• Check minibar stock, post revenue for consumed items using Micros, refill missing items and ensure availability for guests.
• Assist guests with additional requests such as extra beds, roll‑away beds, and baby cribs, and communicate in the guest’s native language when possible.
• Stay calm during emergencies or high‑activity periods, supporting issue resolution and collaborating with Front Office, Housekeeping, Accounting and F&B.
• Obtain shift handover information, participate in training, and help maintain pantry supplies on each floor.

• Friendly, professional and service‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to stay calm and alert in fast‑paced or emergency situations.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to use guests’ native language when appropriate.
• Team player who works closely with multiple hotel departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Synergy request management system.
• Ability to use Micros for posting minibar charges and closing guest checks.
