Cargo Customer Affairs Controller (Internship)

About the role

The Cargo Customer Affairs Controller internship supports the management of the CASA Headquarters unit at Emirates SkyCargo. Working under the Manager Customer Affairs, you will help handle customer complaints and claims, ensuring timely and cost‑effective resolution while protecting revenue and customer loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in investigating and closing customer complaints/claims across all operational divisions.
• Coordinate with Group Legal, Group Insurance and external counsel for legal cases.
• Prepare and monitor compensation proposals within authority limits.
• Support the preparation of compensation data for audit, budgeting and analysis.
• Help distribute daily workload, track team performance against KPIs and identify issues.
• Focus on the Arabic community segment to restore confidence and goodwill.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Student or recent graduate interested in air cargo, customer service or legal affairs.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of complaint handling and compensation processes.
• Familiarity with data recording for audit purposes.
