Carpenter 3

About the role

Aati Contracts is looking for a Carpenter 3 in Dubai to carry out assembly and furnishing works in the factory and on site, within the time frames specified and according to customer specifications and quality standards. The role covers joinery and wood works, including shuttering for concrete works.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out assembly work in the factory and fit-out and finishing works on site for all joinery and wood works, such as fixing doors, windows, cabinets and furniture, as per shop drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Perform shuttering for structural concrete works during construction, such as slabs, beams and concrete floor slabs, as per specifications and instructions.
• Complete assigned tasks within the specified timeframes and within the assigned coverage area.
• Assist in setting up stores, offices and storage facilities and in constructing scaffolding on site, as instructed by the Project Engineer.
• Protect finished works by preparing adequate plywood covers and other protection measures as instructed.
• Manage the assigned toolbox and replace tools as needed.

Required profile

• 2 to 3 years of experience as a skilled carpenter in the interiors or civil industry.
• Knowledge of both furnishing and shuttering works.
• Attention to detail and concern for quality.
