Carpenter – 5 Star Resort Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join the engineering team at Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island. The role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the resort’s wooden structures, furniture and fittings to ensure a safe and attractive environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on furniture, doors, windows, cabinets, fixtures and other wooden structures.
• Repair and replace damaged woodwork, fittings and furnishings.
• Install, assemble and modify carpentry items as required.
• Conduct routine inspections, identify maintenance needs and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and follow health, safety and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven carpentry experience in a 5‑star resort or similar hospitality environment in the UAE.
• Technical education background with relevant diplomas.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work in a busy schedule and work effectively as part of a team.
