Carpenter Foreman - Formwork & Shuttering

About the role

A leading contracting company in Dubai is looking for an experienced Carpenter Foreman to supervise and manage carpentry works on its high-rise building, villa and residential projects. The foreman oversees formwork, shuttering and finishing carpentry works.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily carpentry and formwork activities at site
• Manage carpenters and allocate tasks according to project requirements
• Read and interpret construction drawings and formwork details
• Ensure shuttering, formwork and carpentry works follow approved drawings and specifications
• Monitor quality, alignment, leveling and finishing of carpentry works
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors on work progress
• Plan manpower, tools and materials needed for carpentry activities
• Conduct inspections and ensure work meets project quality standards
• Monitor productivity and ensure timely completion of assigned activities
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain daily work progress updates

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Carpenter Foreman in construction projects
• Strong experience in shuttering, formwork and civil construction works
• Experience in high-rise, residential and villa projects preferred
• Ability to supervise and manage carpentry teams
• Good understanding of construction drawings and site execution
• UAE construction experience is an advantage
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
