Carpenter – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

Join AccorHotel in Dubai as a Carpenter, responsible for maintaining and enhancing the wooden structures throughout the hotel. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on furniture, doors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, and other wooden structures.
• Repair and replace damaged woodwork, fittings, and furnishings.
• Install, assemble, and modify carpentry items as required.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Support other engineering team members when required.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest concerns.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Proven track record in a similar carpentry role for at least 2 years.
• Hotel experience is preferred.
• Technical education background with relevant diplomas.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work in a busy schedule.
• Team player attitude.
