Carpenter / Steel Fixer – Full‑time in Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter/Steel Fixer to join our construction team in Dubai. The role involves both carpentry and reinforcement work on concrete structures, ensuring high‑quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform carpentry tasks such as formwork, shuttering, framing and general woodwork.
• Install, cut, bend, tie and fix reinforcement steel according to approved drawings.
• Prepare and assemble formwork for columns, beams, slabs and foundations.
• Measure, mark, cut and assemble materials accurately using hand and power tools.
• Check dimensions, levels, alignment and positioning of formwork and reinforcement.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all PPE and site regulations.
• Coordinate with other trades to meet project schedules.
• Report material needs, damaged tools or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a carpenter, steel fixer or combined role in construction.
• Knowledge of formwork, shuttering, reinforcement steel and concrete works.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings (preferred).
• Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Relevant trade certification or training is an advantage.
