Cashier – Restaurant (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and responsible Cashier to join our restaurant team in Dubai. The role involves handling customer orders, payments and providing excellent service while ensuring accuracy and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and take food orders accurately.
• Enter orders into the POS system and process bills.
• Handle cash, credit cards and other payment methods, provide correct change and issue receipts.
• Assist customers with menu questions, prices and promotions.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and delivery team to ensure orders are prepared correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter.
• Reconcile cash and POS transactions at the end of each shift.
• Handle customer complaints politely and refer issues to the supervisor when necessary.
• Follow restaurant hygiene, safety and company policies.

Required profile

• Previous cashier or restaurant experience preferred.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong numerical and cash‑handling abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or Hindi is an advantage.
• Currently residing in the UAE is preferred.
