Category Buyer / Account Manager – Procurement

About the role

OurShopee is hiring a commercially focused Category Buyer / Account Manager to manage and expand its Home Appliances category. The role involves developing supplier partnerships, managing product assortment and pricing, analysing market trends, and supporting marketplace growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Source, negotiate with, and onboard new brands and vendors.
• Manage product assortment, category selection, pricing, and promotional campaigns.
• Ensure product availability and maintain competitive pricing strategies.
• Build and strengthen long‑term vendor and business relationships.
• Identify opportunities to expand and grow the Home Appliances category.
• Analyse market trends, sales performance, and category data to support business decisions.
• Contribute to the growth and profitability of the assigned category.

Required profile

• 2–8 years of UAE experience in buying, category management, or procurement within the Home Appliances sector.
• Strong vendor negotiation and commercial management skills.
• Experience with MDA, SDA, or Home Appliances products is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commercial mindset with strong relationship management capabilities.
