Category Manager – Apparel

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Category Manager – Apparel to lead merchandise planning, category strategy and commercial execution across a large retail network in Dubai. The role will drive revenue growth by leveraging market data, consumer trends and sales metrics to shape product assortments and optimise stock turnover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive category plans, merchandise strategies and range assortments based on consumer analytics and seasonal trends.
• Set annual, quarterly and monthly merchandising budgets, purchasing strategies and new product launch schedules.
• Monitor product costs, inventory velocity, sell‑through performance and stock turnover across all store locations.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking, SKU‑level analysis and market gap reviews to identify new product opportunities.
• Collaborate with supply chain, logistics and store operations teams to ensure product availability and smooth seasonal transitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising or Retail Management.
• Minimum 5 years of apparel category management experience supporting a large retail network (≈100 stores).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with data analytics tools.
• Financial reporting software expertise.
