Category Manager – Indirect Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager – Indirect Services to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management and contract negotiations across a broad range of indirect spend categories. The role will drive cost optimisation, ensure compliance and support business units in the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for categories such as manpower outsourcing, energy, leasing, telecommunications, professional and facilities services.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard suppliers; maintain strategic relationships and monitor performance through SLAs, KPIs and scorecards.
• Lead commercial and contractual negotiations, ensuring contracts contain clear service standards, pricing structures and renewal terms.
• Drive cost‑reduction, cost‑avoidance and value‑creation initiatives; track savings and manage the procurement budget.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives and risk‑mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Proven track record of delivering savings and managing complex supplier contracts.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct spend analysis, market research and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
