Catering & Conference Sales Coordinator (UAE National)

About the role

The Catering & Conference Sales Coordinator supports the Sales & Marketing team at The Ritz‑Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal. The role handles general office duties, prepares sales documents such as proposals and contracts, and acts as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry to event execution.

Key responsibilities

• Perform office tasks including filing, emailing, typing, faxing and copying to keep the Sales & Marketing department running efficiently.
• Prepare and manage sales‑related documents throughout the sales cycle, such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders.
• Promote the brand internally and externally by assembling promotional packages, brochures and other marketing materials.
• Enter, retrieve, reconcile and verify sales data, commissions, leads and third‑party information in the relevant software systems.
• Respond to guest inquiries about property facilities, rates, packages, promotions and special events via phone and email.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience in sales, hospitality or administrative support.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
