CCS Commissioning Specialist

About the role

The CCS Commissioning Specialist will lead test and commissioning activities for protection and busbar protection systems, as well as monitoring & diagnosis projects across high‑voltage substations. The role is field‑based in Abu Dhabi with 100% regional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Perform test & commissioning of protection, busbar protection and M&D projects.
• Plan and allocate resources for the field service commissioning team.
• Maintain a billable ratio of 90% or higher across projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, customers and consultants to ensure documentation, delivery and quality commitments are met.
• Implement ServiceMax during project execution and manage engineering approvals.
• Provide technical clarification to suppliers, customers and panel manufacturers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic/electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience with GEV protection, CCS, M&D systems and high‑voltage substation engineering.
• Strong knowledge of protection relays, busbar protection philosophy and conventional control systems.
• Ability to read and implement technical drawings (wiring diagrams, P&ID, GA).
• Excellent English communication skills and willingness to travel extensively.
