Cell Leader - Landing Gear

About the role

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Cell Leader for the Landing Gear production line in Dubai. The role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity and delivery performance within the cell, leading a team of technicians on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture through tier meetings, toolbox talks, Gemba walks and ensure compliance with JHAs, PPE and approved work practices.
• Ensure work follows CMMs, planning documents, technical data and quality procedures; promptly raise safety, quality or tooling issues.
• Drive productivity and continuous improvement by identifying waste, supporting standard work, 5S, visual management, KANBAN and QCPC initiatives.
• Lead or co‑lead improvement events, monitor cell performance metrics and implement recovery plans when targets are missed.
• Provide daily oversight to senior technicians, set priorities, allocate resources and track progress against the production plan.
• Coordinate component movement between GATE processes to maintain workflow and meet delivery schedules.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a manufacturing cell or team in an aerospace or high‑tech environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively, coach technicians and manage on‑site operations.
• Analytical mindset to monitor metrics and drive corrective actions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CMMs, planning documentation and quality procedures.
• Familiarity with 5S, visual management, KANBAN and QCPC methodologies.
