Charge Nurse – Medical Ward

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Charge Nurse to lead the Medical‑Surgical Ward in Ajman. The role combines direct patient care with staff supervision, ensuring high‑quality, safe care for patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care following evidence‑based practices.
• Supervise, mentor and schedule nursing staff to maintain safe staffing levels.
• Report accidents, incidents and safety concerns to the Unit Manager and Quality Division.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, fire safety, infection control and quality initiatives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and audit documentation for compliance.
• Participate in orientation, mandatory training and continuing nursing education.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum six years of clinical nursing experience with leadership exposure.
• Strong English communication; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
