Chartered Accountant – Finance Lead

About the role

SIBIE Ltd is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to lead finance across its group entities. You will own statutory accounts, tax filings, consolidation and management reporting while ensuring compliance with HMRC and Companies House.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare UK statutory accounts and Corporation Tax returns.
• Lead month‑end close and produce monthly management accounts.
• Manage multi‑entity accounting, group consolidation and multi‑currency reporting.
• Build and maintain cash‑flow forecasts, budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Run all entities on Xero, handling hands‑on bookkeeping and reporting.
• Prepare board and management reports.
• Handle Companies House, HMRC filings, VAT returns and PAYE compliance.
• Liaise with external auditors for year‑end audits.

Required profile

• Qualified CA or ACCA (mandatory).
• 4‑5 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in the UK.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS.
• Experience with UK statutory accounts, corporation tax, VAT and PAYE.
• Proven multi‑entity, multi‑currency and consolidation background.
• Hands‑on experience with Xero, ideally across several entities.
• Track record of preparing board or management reports.
