Chartered Accountant – Tax & Compliance (Immediate Joiner)

About the role

Our client, a leading tax and compliance firm in Dubai, is seeking a Chartered Accountant with strong expertise in UAE VAT and Corporate Tax. The successful candidate will join the team immediately, handling end‑to‑end compliance for a portfolio of corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns, amendments and voluntary disclosures on the FTA portal.
• Manage UAE Corporate Tax registration, filings and tax computations in line with the new CT law.
• Handle Economic Substance Reporting (ESR) and Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) filings.
• Assist clients during FTA audits, tax assessments and respond to official queries.
• Review client books, invoices and contracts for VAT and CT compliance.
• Produce tax advisory notes, impact analyses and compliance reports.
• Maintain a compliance calendar, track deadlines and send client reminders.
• Liaise with the FTA, auditors, clients and internal teams to gather required documentation.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA, ACCA or CPA).
• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and FTA compliance.
• Immediate availability or notice period of no more than 15 days.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with the FTA portal (VAT filing, CT registration, ESR, voluntary disclosure).
• Strong knowledge of UAE Tax Law, VAT Law, Corporate Tax Law and IFRS.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Tally, Zoho Books or other ERP systems.
