Chartered Accountant – Tax & Compliance (Immediate Joiner)

About the role

Our client, a leading tax and compliance firm in Dubai, is seeking a Chartered Accountant with strong expertise in UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and FTA compliance. The role is on‑site and requires an immediate joiner or a candidate who can start within 15 days.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns, amendments and voluntary disclosures on the FTA portal on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Handle UAE Corporate Tax registration, filings and tax computations in line with the new UAE CT law.
• Manage ESR, UBO and Economic Substance Reporting filings for client entities.
• Assist clients during FTA audits, tax assessments and respond to queries or notices.
• Review client books, invoices and contracts for VAT and CT compliance.
• Prepare tax advisory notes, impact analyses and compliance reports.
• Liaise with the FTA, clients, auditors and internal teams to gather required documentation.
• Maintain a compliance calendar, track deadlines and send client reminders.
• Support senior managers in tax planning, structuring and consulting projects.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA, ACCA or CPA).
• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and FTA compliance.
• Immediate availability or notice period of no more than 15 days.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with Tally, Zoho Books or similar ERP systems.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with the FTA portal (VAT filing, CT registration, ESR, voluntary disclosure).
• Strong knowledge of UAE Tax Law, VAT Law, Corporate Tax Law and IFRS.
• Advanced Excel.
• Tally / Zoho Books / ERP usage.
