Chef De Partie (Arabic)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Chef De Partie with Arabic language skills to join the culinary team at Marriott Al Forsan in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high‑quality food presentation, and supporting the service team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen workers, ensuring proper food presentation and decorative displays.
• Monitor food quantity, portioning, arrangement, garnish, and inform service staff of menu specials and out‑of‑stock items.
• Prepare special meals or substitute items and assist kitchen staff with various tasks.
• Monitor stock of kitchen supplies and food, maintain kitchen logs for the food safety program.
• Ensure food quality and report non‑conforming products to the manager.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
• Follow company safety and security policies, report maintenance needs, accidents, and complete safety training.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 lb, reaching overhead, bending, and twisting.

Required profile

• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School degree.
• 4 to 6 years of related culinary work experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.
