Chef de Partie – Brooklyn Chop House

About the role

The Brooklyn Chop House at W Hotels in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join its culinary team. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the service team during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, broilers and roasters and ensure food safety compliance.
• Pull, thaw and portion foods, maintain accurate food logs and monitor inventory for specials.
• Prepare cold dishes and garnish plates to meet visual standards.
• Communicate with chefs and front‑of‑house staff about menu specials, out‑of‑stock items and excess food usage.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and employee coaching as needed.
• Follow all company safety, security and hygiene policies and report any hazards.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school qualification in culinary arts.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen.
• Ability to work long periods standing, lift up to 25 lb and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting and reaching.
• Professional appearance and commitment to confidentiality and asset protection.
