Chef De Partie - Chinese Cantonese Kitchen

About the role

The Culinary team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi seeks a Chef de Partie to lead a Chinese Cantonese kitchen section. Reporting to the Junior Sous Chef, you will ensure high‑quality preparation and presentation of menu items while supporting junior team members and upholding safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the assigned kitchen section, maintaining quality, consistency, and service excellence.
• Prepare and present menu items according to established recipes, culinary standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Monitor product quality, portion control, and food consistency while supporting cost‑management initiatives.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels and assist with inventory control and mise en place preparation.
• Coach and mentor junior culinary associates, fostering their growth within the brigade.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times.

Required profile

• Extensive culinary experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or quality‑driven restaurant environment.
• Passion for food, culinary innovation, and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong technical culinary knowledge across a variety of cuisines and cooking techniques.
• Leadership skills with a desire to coach and develop team members.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure.
• Fluent communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
