Chef de Partie – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

The Chef de Partie will work in the hotel kitchen in Dubai, preparing a variety of dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. This full‑time position supports the culinary team during busy periods and contributes to daily specials.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, substitute items, and cold foods according to recipes.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Thaw frozen items in refrigeration and ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnish.
• Maintain food logs, monitor quality and quantity, and report excess items for specials.
• Communicate menu specials, out‑of‑stock items, and assistance needs to service staff and the Chef.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and employee coaching.
• Follow all safety, security, and hygiene policies; report incidents and maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work extended periods standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lb, and handling kitchen equipment.
