Chef de Partie

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort. The successful candidate will work under the Restaurant Chef to ensure smooth, safe and profitable kitchen operations while delivering the high‑standard cuisine expected of a Minor Hotels property.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Chef in organising all kitchen activities and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Support the development and execution of restaurant cuisine concepts and standards.
• Monitor local market trends and supplier offerings, recommending menu adjustments based on seasonal availability.
• Follow Minor Hotels food preparation and presentation guidelines to guarantee consistent quality.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation and proper storage practices, including dating, rotation and inventory control.
• Manage kitchen assets and equipment, ensuring regular maintenance and compliance.
• Participate in departmental training and mentor team members to uphold service excellence.
• Foster positive inter‑departmental communication and collaborate on special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation.
• Experience working in a hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
• Familiarity with local market suppliers and seasonal product availability.
• Commitment to food safety, sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
