Chef De Partie

About the role

The DoubleTree by Hilton Resort and Spa Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is looking for a full-time Chef de Partie. The role oversees the preparation of high-quality dishes and spreads the warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Season, cook and test dishes according to standard recipes, keeping taste and presentation consistent.
• Oversee line cooks and support them when senior chefs are absent so operations run smoothly.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and free of cross-contamination.
• Monitor ingredient quality, storage and stock rotation.
• Help control food costs, improve gross profit margins and meet departmental financial targets.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a hotel, resort or high-volume food production environment.
• Ability to supervise a kitchen section and train, guide and support junior team members.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexibility to work various shifts in a multicultural team.

Required skills

• Food preparation techniques, cooking methods, portion control and food presentation.
• Food safety, hygiene and HACCP principles.
• Strong organization, prioritization and teamwork skills in a fast-paced kitchen.
