About the role

Join the culinary team at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, a luxury property of Minor Hotels. You will work in a vibrant kitchen that blends Thai hospitality with the natural beauty of the UAE, delivering memorable dining experiences for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Organise all activities within the restaurant kitchen, ensuring safe, smooth and profitable operation.
• Support the development of cuisine concepts and standards, and recommend menu changes based on seasonal product availability.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with HACCP and Minor Hotels guidelines.
• Manage inventory, control food costs and minimise waste.
• Oversee asset management of kitchen equipment and facilities.
• Participate in departmental training and promote positive inter‑departmental relations.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation standards.
• Comprehensive understanding of food safety, hygiene and HACCP principles.
• Experience in menu preparation, portion control, quality assurance and inventory management.
• Ability to supervise, train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
• Good organisational, time‑management and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
