Chef de Partie Pastry – Rüya Specialty Restaurant

About the role

The Chef de Partie Pastry will work in the Rüya specialty restaurant, preparing high‑quality pastry dishes and supporting the kitchen team during busy periods. The role involves ensuring consistent quality, proper portioning, and adherence to presentation standards while maintaining food safety and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters and ensure proper food storage and thawing.
• Maintain food logs, monitor portion sizes, garnish dishes and ensure quality of all prepared items.
• Communicate with kitchen and service staff about menu specials, out‑of‑stock items and excess food for daily specials.

Required profile

• Technical or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
• Minimum three years of pastry experience in a specialty restaurant or hotel kitchen.
• No prior supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperature regulation.
• Pastry preparation and cold‑food preparation.
• Food log maintenance and portion control.
