Chef de Partie – Spanish Cuisine (MarBar Kitchen)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to join our MarBar Kitchen in Dubai. You will be responsible for preparing authentic Spanish dishes while supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, season, cook, and test Spanish dishes according to standard recipes, maintaining consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
• Supervise and assist the kitchen team within the assigned section, providing guidance in the absence of senior chefs.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor ingredient quality, storage, labeling, and stock rotation to meet food safety requirements.
• Assist with cost management by minimizing waste, controlling portions, and using ingredients efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and food hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of professional kitchen experience, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or high‑volume operation.
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish cuisine, ingredients, cooking techniques, and traditional dishes.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to operate kitchen‑related computer systems.
