Chef Positions – Open Day Recruitment Across UAE

About the role

Independent Food Company, a UAE‑based hospitality group with concepts such as SALT, Parker’s, Somewhere and others, is expanding across the Emirates. They are holding Open Days to recruit chefs for multiple kitchen positions, from Commis to Sous Chef, in new store openings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present food according to brand recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure consistency in food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
• Assist with stock handling, inventory, and waste control.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support senior chefs in maintaining operational excellence and service standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen (level dependent on the position applied for).
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, or hospitality environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must be currently based in the UAE.
