Chemistry Teacher (Full‑time)

About the role

Aldar Academies are looking for an enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join Bateen World Academy for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The school combines British and IB curricula and serves students from FS1 to Year 13 in a vibrant Abu Dhabi community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons in line with the school’s Teaching and Learning Policy.
• Create a supportive learning climate, set clear objectives and targets, and differentiate instruction for SEN, EAL and gifted students.
• Utilise assessment for learning, performance data and ICT tools to inform planning and improve outcomes.
• Maintain discipline according to the Behaviour for Learning Policy and promote punctuality, good work standards and homework completion.
• Mark student work regularly, set progress targets and record achievements as per the school’s marking policy.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in Chemistry.
• Familiarity with UAE Ministry of Education and ADEK regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural school environment.
• Commitment to the school’s core values and regional cultural appreciation.
