Chemistry Teacher – Full‑Time Position in Sharjah

About the role

Our client school, part of a six‑school network accredited by AdvancED and offering IB and AP programmes, is seeking a Chemistry Teacher for middle and high school classes in Sharjah. The contract is for 2‑3 years, Monday‑Friday, with a competitive salary based on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver chemistry lessons to middle‑ and high‑school students using the AP or IB curriculum as required.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments and classroom materials in line with the school’s academic standards.
• Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development and IB training sessions.

Required profile

• Native English speaker from an English‑speaking country.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (or related subject) plus a teaching licence, or a postgraduate education degree with a chemistry specialty.
• Minimum two years of post‑graduate teaching experience in the subject.
• Ability to provide references to verify teaching experience; teaching licence preferred.

• Salary: 12,500‑21,000 AED per month, dependent on experience and credentials.
