Chief Accountant - Arabic Speaking Required

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports; analyse financial data for discrepancies and trends.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, subsidiary accounts, and monthly account reconciliations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare documentation for auditors, and ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cost analysis to support strategic planning.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, delegate responsibilities, and provide guidance on accounting procedures.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cash flow, and other day‑to‑day accounting operations.
• Recommend ways to reduce costs, enhance revenue, and improve internal financial processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial processes align with business objectives and support operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of senior accounting role.
• Prior experience in multi‑branch operation (highly preferred).
• Proficiency in accounting, financial reporting, VAT, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting software / ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; strong working knowledge of Word.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to supervise staff, manage deadlines, and work under pressure.
