Chief Accountant

About the role

Hilton’s Dubai hotel is seeking a Chief Accountant to lead its financial operations. The role combines strategic financial oversight with day‑to‑day accounting responsibilities, ensuring the hotel’s financial health aligns with its hospitality standards. You will be the primary point of contact for all financial matters, ensuring transparency and compliance across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of the hotel’s financial strategy, aligning operations with profitability goals.
• Review financial performance, reconcile accounts, and prepare actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Credit, and Night Audit functions while maintaining internal controls.
• Lead the preparation and review of monthly financial statements, ensuring accurate cash receipt coding and supporting internal audits.
• Authorize ledger reconciliations, tax filings, and payroll to guarantee compliance and accuracy.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate the accounting team, fostering professional development and high performance.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in hotel or hospitality accounting.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Leadership ability to manage and develop a finance team.
