Chief Accountant – Manufacturing Finance Lead

About the role

Red Planet Foodstuff Manufacturing LLC is looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to lead its finance function in the KEZAD industrial zone of Abu Dhabi. The role will oversee general ledger, cost and inventory accounting, and provide financial analysis for a fast‑moving consumer goods manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, cost accounting and inventory accounting processes.
• Lead month‑end closing, ledger reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.
• Develop budgets, financial forecasts, cash‑flow models and variance analysis reports.
• Prepare comprehensive schedules and documentation for external and internal audits.
• Manage ERP accounting system and support implementation projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (ACCA, CPA, CIMA preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Proven experience in month‑end close, budgeting and audit coordination.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
