Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer will provide monthly financial reports to Executive Management, prepare budgets and capital‑expenditure proposals, and support decision‑making across business units. The role also involves managing banking relationships, insurance coverage, and working‑capital cycles to protect and grow shareholder value.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial, budgetary and capital‑expenditure reports to Executive Management and Business Unit Heads.
• Develop and maintain banking, credit and insurance relationships, negotiate terms and implement hedging strategies.
• Oversee fiscal reporting, including revenue, expense, balance‑sheet, and grant‑funding reports.
• Implement and monitor internal controls, credit‑management systems and risk‑management frameworks.
• Lead audit processes, resolve audit issues and ensure compliance with regional regulations.
• Drive regional expansion, assess inorganic growth opportunities and support M&A activities.
• Develop financial models, sensitivity analyses and budgeting tools to support bidding and strategic planning.

Required profile

• 20‑25 years of relevant finance experience, including at least 10 years in senior managerial roles within mid‑size or large facility‑management organisations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance (Tier‑A B‑School) or a Master’s/Commerce degree from a recognised institution.
• Proven track record in strategic financial management, budgeting, forecasting and securing funding.
