Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer will provide strategic and operational leadership across the organisation's finance function, ensuring strong financial performance, effective governance, robust risk management, and disciplined decision‑making. The role also oversees Finance Shared Services and drives efficiency, standardisation, and transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the financial strategy to support growth, profitability and long‑term objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, management reporting and performance analysis for the CEO and senior leadership.
• Oversee accounting, controllership, treasury, tax, cash flow, working capital and statutory reporting.
• Manage Finance Shared Services (AP, AR, GL, Record‑to‑Report) and drive process improvement, automation and cost optimisation.
• Establish financial controls, policies, governance frameworks and approval processes.
• Lead enterprise and financial risk management, including liquidity, credit, FX, compliance and fraud mitigation.
• Partner with the CEO and Executive Leadership on strategic investments, acquisitions and capital allocation.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives such as ERP optimisation, digitalisation and analytics.
• Build and lead a high‑performing finance organisation with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 20+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior CFO or Finance Director roles.
• Proven track record in finance transformation, process optimisation, automation and ERP environments.
• Experience leading Finance Shared Services or Global Business Services in a complex or multinational organisation.
• Strong commercial, strategic, analytical and stakeholder‑management skills, with experience working with senior leadership and boards.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent; MBA is a plus.
