Chief Financial Officer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead our financial strategy, planning, reporting, risk management and long‑term growth. The role is fully remote, reporting to the CEO and working closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting and long‑term modeling.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax, cash flow management and financial operations.
• Monitor financial performance, profitability, working capital and establish KPIs.
• Lead internal and external audit processes and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
• Support corporate structuring, financing, investment, fundraising and capital management activities.
• Build and develop finance and accounting teams, and drive process automation and efficiency.

Required profile

• 8–15+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles such as CFO, Finance Director or Financial Controller.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA or professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting, taxation, VAT and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to communicate complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Fluent English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
