Chief of Staff

About the role

The Chief of Staff will work directly with the CEO to turn strategic vision into concrete results across VAP Group’s events and digital media businesses. This senior position supports the leadership team, drives cross‑functional initiatives, and helps shape the company’s growth in global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO to prioritize and execute company objectives across events and digital media portfolios.
• Align the leadership team by setting agendas, tracking decisions, and ensuring follow‑ups are completed.
• Lead special projects that span multiple departments and are critical to growth.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor key performance metrics for sponsorships, exhibition space, ticketing, advertising, content partnerships, and subscriptions.
• Act as a sounding board for the CEO, anticipating challenges and providing strategic input.
• Support culture and team‑building initiatives for a distributed, multicultural workforce.
• Represent the CEO’s office at major industry events and conferences worldwide.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, operations, or senior leadership support, preferably within media.
• Proven ability to operate across international markets and multicultural teams.
• Strong business judgment with the capacity to balance creative vision against financial realities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
