Chief of Staff – Middle East, North Africa & Turkey

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a results‑driven Chief of Staff to support the Managing Director of the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey (MENAT) region. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will partner with senior leaders and key functions such as PR, finance, recruiting, and HR to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategic planning, translate vision into actionable plans, and ensure regional goals are met.
• Serve as the central liaison, facilitating communication between the MENAT executive team, customers, senior leaders, and internal/external stakeholders.
• Lead high‑impact, cross‑functional projects from conception through delivery.
• Gather data, build context, and present insights and recommendations to enable informed decision‑making.
• Design and implement employee engagement programs that foster a positive, innovative culture.
• Develop and manage internal communications across the MENAT organization.
• Establish mechanisms to track business unit progress, outcomes, and provide regular updates to leadership.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
• 7+ years working with core cloud technology services (compute, edge, hybrid, security, networking).
• 7+ years experience with business application technologies, including enterprise modernization and migration.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, data‑analysis capability, and excellent communication skills.
