About the role
As a Chief Steward at Hilton in Ras Al Khaimah, you will provide strategic oversight of all stewarding operations, ensuring memorable guest experiences through impeccable service and team leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee inventory control, coordinating distribution, storage and maintenance of china, glassware, linen and silver to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Ensure proper equipment maintenance, securing optimal functionality of all food‑service equipment.
- Set and enforce sanitation standards, developing and monitoring procedures to meet the highest hygiene and safety regulations.
- Optimize department costs by monitoring expenses and implementing cost‑saving strategies while maintaining quality.
- Inspire and develop the team through recruitment, training, coaching, performance evaluations and recognition.
- Uphold regulatory standards, maintaining compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or University Degree.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Chief Steward.
- Relevant license or certification.
