About the role
Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort is looking for a Chief Steward. The role establishes and maintains the stewarding department's systems and operating methods so that all other colleagues in the hotel can work effectively, and supervises the stewarding team.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective stewarding department systems and methods of operation to support all other colleagues in the hotel.
- Supervise all Stewarding team members, facilities, operations and costs.
- Coordinate with hotel colleagues on maintaining par stocks and supplies, and approve storeroom requisitions.
- Ensure the cleanliness of all facilities and equipment.
- Schedule preventative maintenance work and coordinate with Engineering.
- Ensure team members follow Health and Safety standards, use and store chemicals appropriately and use required safety materials safely.
- Play an active and leading role in the hotel's energy conservation and environmental policies and practices.
