Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Executive Leadership

About the role

A leading, large‑scale organisation with complex, multi‑site operations is seeking an accomplished Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its enterprise technology agenda and drive the next phase of transformation and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise‑wide technology strategy aligned with commercial and operational priorities.
• Lead major digital transformation and technology modernisation programmes across the organisation.
• Build a scalable technology ecosystem capable of supporting large, geographically distributed service delivery.
• Strengthen the digital connection between frontline operations, workforce, customers, assets and enterprise systems.
• Establish a scalable, resilient and future‑ready enterprise technology architecture.
• Drive integration across platforms, applications, infrastructure and data environments.
• Strengthen technology governance, cybersecurity, information security and enterprise resilience.
• Advance data, analytics, automation and AI capabilities with measurable business value.
• Oversee technology investment, budgets, strategic vendors and major implementation partners.
• Build and lead a high‑performing technology organisation and provide Board‑level insight on technology opportunities and risks.

Required profile

• Significant C‑suite or enterprise technology leadership experience in large, multi‑site organisations.
• Proven track record of leading complex digital transformation and technology modernisation programmes.
• Experience supporting high‑volume operations and sizeable distributed workforces through technology.
• Strong background in enterprise architecture, applications, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data and digital platforms.
• Commercial and financial acumen with management of substantial technology investments.
• Ability to work with senior executives, Boards and business leaders on strategic priorities.
