Chief Technology Officer

About the role

An established and growing IT products and solutions company is looking to appoint an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its technology strategy and technical organisation from its regional headquarters in Dubai. The company delivers a range of technology products, solutions and services to enterprise customers and is continuing to invest in its technology capabilities, product portfolio and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's overall technology strategy and roadmap.
• Lead and develop the technology, engineering and technical teams.
• Ensure technology strategy is closely aligned with the company's business and commercial objectives.
• Oversee technology architecture, platforms, infrastructure and application environments.
• Lead the development, enhancement and delivery of technology products and solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve the company's products and services.
• Drive innovation, automation, cloud adoption and digital transformation where appropriate.
• Ensure technology platforms are scalable, secure, reliable and fit for enterprise customers.
• Work closely with sales and commercial teams on customer requirements, solution development and technical proposals.
• Manage technology investment and ensure effective allocation of resources.

Required profile

• 15+ years of technology experience with senior leadership roles such as CTO, CIO, VP Engineering or Head of Technology.
• Proven track record of leading sizeable engineering teams and delivering enterprise‑grade technology solutions.
• Extensive experience in the UAE and GCC markets, with strong commercial awareness and ability to align technology with revenue growth.
