Child-Led Learning Facilitator

About the role

We are looking for a warm, energetic learning coach to guide our 9‑year‑old child through daily academic learning and real‑life application. The role blends structured teaching with creative, child‑led exploration, fostering emotional intelligence and intellectual growth in a home environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and facilitate daily learning experiences based on the child’s interests and natural curiosity.
• Blend academic structure with exploratory, imaginative play and projects across numeracy, science, history, arts and nature.
• Foster emotional intelligence, creativity, critical thinking and independence through real‑world projects and sensory‑rich activities.
• Implement child‑led, curiosity‑driven learning models that evolve as the child grows.
• Create and maintain portfolios documenting learning progress using photos, notes and reflections.
• Provide a safe, nurturing and emotionally responsive learning environment.
• Guide the child through emotional moments and frustrations with patience.

Required profile

• Academic background in Primary Education.
• Proven experience working with primary‑aged children in academic and project‑based settings.
• Knowledge or experience in unschooling, homeschooling or alternative education methods.
• Emotionally attuned, patient and confident in supporting children through emotional regulation.
• Enjoys play, games, storytelling and hands‑on activities.
