Chinese Cook – Full-time in Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Chinese Cook will prepare authentic Chinese dishes, ensuring high standards of hygiene and attractive presentation while supporting menu development and seasonal specials.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of traditional and modern Chinese dishes.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and attractive presentation of all food served.
• Assist in planning and updating menu items, specials, and seasonal dishes.
• Monitor Chinese‑specific ingredient stock, place orders, and manage proper storage and rotation.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, sanitation standards, and report equipment issues.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team and assist in training junior staff on Chinese cooking techniques.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Chinese Cook or similar role in a restaurant or hotel.
• Deep understanding of Chinese cuisine, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen cleanliness standards.
