Chinese Translator – Abu Dhabi Project

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Chinese‑English Translator to support our construction project near KIZAD, Abu Dhabi. The role involves translating technical, administrative and daily communications to ensure seamless interaction between Chinese management, engineers, supervisors and the multinational workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Chinese↔English translation and interpretation for meetings, site activities, training sessions and briefings.
• Translate technical documents, reports, emails, notices and other project correspondence accurately.
• Assist Chinese management and technical teams in communicating with English‑speaking staff and stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality of all project and company information.
• Perform additional administrative support related to translation as needed.

Required profile

• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English.
• Proven experience as a translator/interpreter, preferably in construction, infrastructure, power plant, engineering or oil & gas.
• Strong ability to work on‑site under pressure and coordinate with diverse nationalities.
• Available to work in the UAE; Sudanese candidates are especially welcomed.
