Chinese Translator

About the role

We are looking for a Chinese Translator to join our project team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide accurate Chinese‑English translation and interpretation to support communication among management, engineers, supervisors, workers and other project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Chinese ↔ English translation and interpretation for meetings, site activities and daily communications.
• Translate technical, administrative and project‑related documents, including emails, reports, instructions and notices.
• Assist Chinese management and technical teams in communicating with English‑speaking employees and external partners.
• Interpret during site meetings, inspections, training sessions and project briefings.
• Support communication between Chinese and multinational project teams while ensuring confidentiality of information.

Required profile

• Fluency in Chinese and English, both spoken and written.
• Previous experience as a Chinese Translator/Interpreter, preferably in construction, infrastructure, power plant, engineering or oil & gas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
• Ability to work on‑site in a multicultural environment.
• Candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred; candidates from India or Sudan may also be considered.

Required skills

• Fluency in Chinese and English (spoken and written).
• Understanding of technical and construction terminology.

What we offer

• Salary up to AED 6000 per month.
